Margaret Hubbard

Margaret Hubbard (Furey), better know as Peggy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2014. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 2, 1943 to Robert J. Furey and Irene Ritchie Furey.
After graduating from Pierce Business School in Pennsylvania, Peggy moved to St. Louis. She met her future husband and Gerald Hubbard and Centenary Church. They had 3 children: Amanda, Barbara and Jonathan.
Peggy worked at Washington University Medical School, and recently retired after 30 years in the Pharmacological/Physiological Department at St. Louis University Medical School.
Peggy has always been very active in the community and was a member of Centenary Church. Her greatest past time was making new friends and traveling with Eastern Star. Peggy belonged to Naomi Chapter in Union, Missouri since 1971. She was also Grand Representative to British Columbia and Yukon.
Peggy was preceded by her son, Jonathan and her cat, Miz Kitty. She is survived by her daughters Amanda and Barbara.
A memorial service will be held on November 1, 12pm at:
Union Masonic Temple
215 N. Christina St.
Union, MO 63084

    Barbara and Amanda…I’m sorry about the loss of your mother. I hope her passing pulls the two of you together even tighter than before. I love you both and know you will get through this tragic event. All my love and prayers.
