Heidi and family,
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother and father. Their Christmas card came back and it wasn’t until I investigated further that I discovered this sad news. They were lovely friends and my heart is so very sad. Thank you for sharing them with me and my family.
Take care!
Andreas, Heidi and Larsen,
Your dad was such a bright spot in so many people’s lives. I will never forget the feeling I experienced each time he would flash that million dollar grin of his. I could just see the mischievous little boy behind that smile and I would HAVE to smile back! His eyes sparkled with such life and humor.. and that sense of humor was infectious. His creativity with his baking craft and the perfection with which he finished off each piece was unbelievable. (I still cannot find any bakery that produces an icing as good your father’s.) The memories of the trips to Nova Scotia & St. Louis, sitting by the fire, walking along outside, listening to his quiet account of events.. will never leave me. He was a special, kindred soul to me. He will always be with me in my heart and in the memories of the times we all shared. I am so deeply sorrowed that we have lost such a wonderful, warm and loving man from our lives. He truly will be missed by us all. You have my deepest, most sincere sympathy as you heal from this great loss in your life. May peace be with you.
