Paula Shirlene Eaton

(nee Holyfield)

Paula was born on September 28, 1936 in Old Hickory, Arkansas and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on March 26, 2015 in House Springs, Missouri.

Paula was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Winfred “Bot” Eaton, her granddaughter Jillian Lynn Burgess and her parents Leonard and Bennie (nee Hubbard) Holyfield.

She was the beloved mother of Toni (Steve) Burgess of Cedar Hill, Missouri and Sandra (Dave) Potter of House Springs, Missouri; dear sister of Linda Givens of Lilbourn, Missouri; loving grandmother of Amanda (Matt) Ellsworth, Joel (Kayla) Potter, Jennifer (Jason) Price, Madeline Burgess and Jaxon Brashear; proud great-grandmother of Ethan Ellsworth, James Ellsworth, Charlotte Potter, Payton Price, Alexandra Price and a future great grandson; she also had many nieces and nephews.

Paula worked as a co-owner of Eaton Hauling for many years, with her husband. She enjoyed reading and going to the casino. Paula and Bot loved to travel and enjoyed any place that had a warm ocean breeze. She took great joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paula loved her family and will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She entered into baptism on March 1, 2015.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on March 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Cedar Hill Lutheran Church, 8600 Silver Lane, Cedar Hill, Missouri.
