Della Jane Stout of High Ridge, Missouri passed away peacefully at St. Anthony’s Hospital on May 19th, 2015.

She was born in Hannibal, Missouri on June 29, 1943 to the late Victor and Margaret Markell.

She is survived by her loving husband Ernest “Red” Stout; her beloved daughter Nancy (John) Talton; her stepchildren Rita (Leeman) Leach, Doris (Steven) Crookshank, Charles Stout, Michael (Rhonda) Stout and Marilyn (Randy) Deal; her dear grandchildren JoAnna, Jermane, Jared and “JoJo” John Talton Jr., Crystal Stout, Elizabeth Crites, Nicklas and Amanda Stout, and Heather and Sara Crookshank; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and dear friends.

Della was self-employed for 40 years as a hairstylist. She had many friends and clients that she loved helping. In her spare time she loved reading, crocheting, going to the casinos, camping with her family, cheering her St. Louis Cardinals and being a mother to her beloved black kitties. She will be remembered most as a kind woman who went out of her way to try to help others, even if it took time away from her own needs. She was also proud to be a great-grandma and loved spending time with her great-grandkids more than anything. She will be remembered always as a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a true friend to many lucky people.

A memorial Celebration of Della’s life will be held on Saturday May 30th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Rd., Affton MO (St. Louis) 63123. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society preferred. www.cancer.org
