Mary “Billie” Meier passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on June 9th, 2015. She was 83 years old. Billie was born in St. Louis on February 5th, 1932 to the late Charles and Melissa Doll.

Her beloved husband John “Don” Meier preceded her in death after almost 50 years of marriage, as well as her brother Larry. She is survived by her loving children Terry (Michelle) Meier and Donna Meier; her wonderful grandchildren Ryan (Danielle) Meier, Perry Merlotti, Lisa Merlotti, Andrew Meier, Nick Meoli and Darcy Campbell; her two cherished great-grandchildren Braydon Meier and Owen Meier; and her dear siblings Buddy (Jerome), “Rae” (Helen), “Tunny” (Patricia) and Donna.

Before her health failed her, Billie enjoyed going to the casinos, both here locally and on her trips to Vegas. She was fond of crossword puzzles and sudoku. Billie also loved big band music. People will remember her as a classic beauty with a real sense of style. She was greatly loved and will be fondly remembered.

Services: A memorial gathering will be held at the chapel of St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau Avenue, St. Louis MO 63103 on Wednesday, June 17th, 2015 from 2-5 pm. Her remains will be interred privately at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery alongside her husband Don. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
