Gloria Delores Fearn, aged 75, died peacefully on October 5, 2015 in Godfrey, IL.

Gloria was born March 1st 1940, the daughter of Otto and Margret Staib.

Gloria graduated from Palentine High School, Palentine IL in 1958. On October 28, 1962 Gloria married the love of her life Wally Fearn, where they met and lived in San Francisco, CA until after the birth of her beloved son Logan Wallace Fearn in 1965. They would later move to Alton, IL where Gloria worked as a secretary for Smurfit-Stone Container until her retirement in 1999.

Gloria thoroughly enjoyed her years with her ESA Sisters Carol Cheek, Claire McBride, Pam Abbott, Judy True, Kelly Abbott, and the late Rosalie Woods, these women were more than ESA, these were her sisters for 45 years. Together they have enjoyed girls night, traveling, and of course being there for one another through marriages, children, and grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by a brother Richard Staib (Jeannie), husband Wally Fearn, son Logan Fearn, daughter-in-law Mandy Fearn, and two granddaughters Kaitlin Fearn, and Mariah Fearn, sister-in-law Mary Gene Fearn-Snelson (Ronald).
Memorial services will be held in the spring.

Grandma, I will never forget anything you’ve taught me over the years, and I will live only to make you proud. You were my hero, my problem solver, and most importantly, my grandma. Rest easy now, I love you.
