Tammy M. Gilberg
Tammy M. Gilberg passed away peacefully at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday, November 6, 2015 with her loving family by her side.
Tammy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 4, 1962. She was the daughter of Elvin and the late Linda Wheatley.
She is survived by her devoted husband Brian C. Gilberg; her loving children Tosha (David) Kerperien and Austin Gilberg; her dear grandchildren Drew and “Belle” Annabel Kerperien; her brothers “Joe” Joseph and Michael (Misty) Wheatley and sister Terri Wheatley; her nieces and nephews Madysin, Tyler and Wyatt Kerperien. She was fortunate to have had many friends throughout her life, but one of her best friends was Lori Corno. She was also a proud pet parent of Pookie and Whiskers, her two kitties.
Tammy battled throughout her life with many different and serious illnesses. Because of this she had a very rich home life. She will be fondly remembered for taking care of her husband and family, and being cared for in return. Her loving presence will be missed.
Tammy made a gift of her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine for the purpose of helping and educating future medical students and in turn their patients.
The memorial service will be on Wednesday, November 10, 2015 at 10 A.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arnold, located at 3517 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010.

Tammy was a close mentor to me 2 summers ago. A beautiful spirit that wanted everyone to succeed in their lives. I met and admired a woman of strength and kindness. I will always remember the light she brought to my life. May the angels surround you Tammy to ensure your new journey is in everlasting peace.

Tammy was a good friend of mine we met about 2 and a half yrs ago when I had fallen down. She helped me so much in my path to rediscover myself and opened up herself to me. She was a true friend, and I will always love her and miss her.
Love you Tammy
