Virginia Estelle Gulley (nee Phillips) passed away at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on November 30, 2015. She was 91 years old.

Virginia was born in Wister, Oklahoma to the late Joseph Layton Phillips and Tennessee (nee Mathews) Phillips. Later in life she moved to Missouri with her family and was raised mostly in the towns of Commerce and Bertrand. Eventually, during the war, she met and married her husband Ithel Gulley, who preceded her in death.

Virginia was a proud mother of 4 children; Wayne, Melba, Ray and Randy (wife-Mary). She was a loving woman who took care of her family and home and she will be missed.

Per her wishes, Virginia’s ashes will be laid to rest privately alongside her husband at New St. Marcus Cemetery on Gravois Road in the Affton area of St. Louis.
