Daughter of John R. (Jack) and Patricia J. (Long) Newton. Survived by siblings Mary G. (Jenny) (Newton) Lehr, John P. (Patrick) (Newton), Mary E. (Newton) (Elliott), James M. (Micheal), (Sister in Law Jaqueline M.) Newton; Nephews Andrew D. Walton (Jen), Timothy M. (Mickey) (Mari) Elliott; Nieces Lucy A. Lehr and Samantha R. Newton; Great Nephew Trevor M. Elliott, great nieces Bailee E. Elliott and Brooke N. Walton.
Memorial Mass to be held Friday February 12th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. All Souls Catholic Church in Overland, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in her memory.
We are so sorry for your loss! We hope and pray that with time the pain and sorrow will soften and you will remember all of the good times with Katie in your hearts. Much Love!
I will miss Katie, we hung out as kids and she was always positive and happy. I am so sorry for your loss.
Girl u know u gone be missed friend…Oh what some great times cooking and laughing together. I was Katie neighborhood and in up becoming like Lil brother and big sister. I’m crying now doing this so please forgive my typing. So sorry for the Newtown’s lose. She was what so many people forget to be her self. Fun ,loving,funny,friendly, open hearted and love to love and be loved. Grilled I was to late..i know u looking down at me saying what only what I and would say to each other…making me laugh now. And I guess we’ll I know that is why I were the big sister in life I never had for the period of time we know each other. I love u Katie and miss u sweetheart. U always and the family in my prayers. And like we would always say to each other ” You go girl “. And I’m still gone do your steak,shrimp on the grill and I know I’m gone make u eat your vegetables, a chef salad for u sister.
