Patrick Dale McCraw
On the morning of March 5th 2016 Patrick passed away at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri as a result of a massive stroke. He was 67 years old.
Patrick was born in Redlands California on March 17th 1948. He was the second child of three, second son, of Janette and Layfette Mc Craw.
Patrick grew up in Norwalk, California where he met his high school sweetheart, Susan, and married her a few years later after joining the Army. In the Army, he moved up through the ranks to Sergeant First Class and he did his tour in the Vietnam War. After returning from the war, he became interested in Configuration Management, working with the government and private companies. His passion and dedication for his profession keep him engaged for the past 35 plus years ending his career with the Boeing family.
Patrick enjoyed life. He loved to read, travel, attend car shows, research genealogy and learn about history. He was a 32nd Degree Mason Scottish Rite Shriner, but let’s keep those hidden treasure secrets in the family! He was a member of the VFW and a very proud retired Army Sergeant. He was passionate about his Irish heritage, enjoyed dressing up and attending Scottish festivals. Over the past few years he enjoyed attending local auctions and swap meets. Patrick has always been a dedicated Greenbay Packers fan and he became an owner as well. His passion for collecting Coke memorabilia literally filled a bedroom.
Patrick was preceded in death by his 4 children, Scottland Mc Craw, Beverly Reynold, Carol Rokey and Nancy Richardson; their spouses, Estela Mc Craw, Paul Reynolds, Scott Rokey and Josh Richardson; 8 grandchildren, Cara, Nicole, Diego, Ashley, Jay Dennis, William, James and Dylan; 1 great grandchild, Katherine, and many cousins and friends. Patrick will be forever missed and in our hearts.
Scottland, I’m very sorry to hear of your loss. I’m also happy that you were able to make it to his side before his passing. That helps with closure. My sincere condolences from both Ron and me.
