Douglass Merritt
Douglass Stephen Sundance Merritt passed away peacefully on Monday, March 21, 2016.
He will remain the cherished son of his mother, Janis Poe, father and stepmother, Steve and Karen Merritt; loving father of Taryn, Brett, and Tylor Merritt; Papa of Kaison and Lydia; dear partner of Sue Whisler; beloved older brother of Israel (Anthea) Merritt, Hannah Merritt, Josiah (Nicole) Merritt, Erika (Bo) Armstrong and dear stepbrother of Katie (Jason) Gordon; uncle of Gaige (Kristen) and Jackson, Teagan, Gwen, Freya, Ella, Brooklyn, Grant, Cooper, Finley, Kyra, Beau, Paisley, Jaci and Kaden; loving grandson of Sandy Merritt; cousin, nephew and friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Juanita Poe, Donald Merritt and Charlotte Crafton.
He will be missed by his pet companion, Thor.

I met Doug when I was 16 years old. We remained friends over the years. He was always the best looking guy around. He had a great personality and a great laugh and a fantastic smile. He will be missed.
