Harold L Govro 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at his home. Beloved husband of the late Marylin Mae Govro. He is also preceded in death by son Richard (rick) Govro, Father Frank J. Govro,Mother Hazel E. Shorter and a half sister Kathy Dean.
Harold is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon Govro Kirkhart (husband Ralph) and Karen Govro Ford (husband Charles) 4 sons, Jim Govro, David Govro and wife Crystle, Douglas Govro and wife Kelly, Dennis Govro and wife Lisa as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 1 half brother bill Govro, 4 half sisters Joyce Hampton Mcdaniel, Linda Green (was raised by Harold and Marylin) Terry Martin Tobyness, Janet Govro Martin and a step mother (granny) Mary Garnett Govro
He and wife Marylin are being buried together with full honors from Harolds service in the Army at Jefferson barracks cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO. Tuesday may 17 at 2 pm. Meet at the building at the entrance, parking behind the building. from there they will process to the location of the service. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you would like to come they only allow a 15 minute memorial service so if you would like to get up and say anything please make it short.
The cemetery will not accept flower arrangements so if you would like to purchase say a house plant in their honor and bring it to display during the service please do and then you can take it back with you as a token of the memorial.

Rest in peace Dad Govro, you will be missed. You are now back with your loving wife for eternity. I am glad I had you for a father in law for 7 years and still considered you my father in law even after that. R.I.P

Pheonix in broken sentences through out the day said “mommy pop pops inside person is coming out soon. Mommy I see mom mom. later he said mommy pop pop turned white later he told the coroner pop pops inside person came out and hes looking for the white door”. He will miss you and never forget you im sure. We love you so much and so happy that you and marylin are finally together again.
