Kenneth Cullen Lair passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He embraced life and death with humor.

Born in Barn City, Iowa June 5, 1937 to Ruth (DeYoung) and Cullen Lair.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Sullivan, Missouri.

Kenny was a resident of Sullivan, Missouri since 2007, previously residing in Safford, Arizona; St. Louis, Missouri; Billings, Montana, and Southeast Iowa over his lifetime.

He is survived by his children David Lair, (Consuelo Garcia), grandson’s Gabriel and Alejandro Garcia-Lair of Coralville, Iowa. Cindy Lair of Boulder, Colorado. Mindy (Lair) Krawiecki, (Michael) granddaughter Alexandra of Wildwood, Missouri. Stepchildren Barbara Eckert (Tom) grandchildren Katie and Joe of Sullivan, Missouri. Edward Musket (Susan) granddaughter Courtney of Wentzville, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his wife Carol Lair, his parents, and sisters Carol and Jeri Ann.

His family extends their deepest gratitude to the staffs of Life Care, Sullivan, Missouri, and Mercy Hospital of St. Louis.
