Michael “Mike” Mesey passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016, at his home surrounded by loved ones after a bout with cancer.

Mike was born October 25, 1950 to his parents, Frank Mesey and Opal (Warren) Mesey. He graduated from Riverview High School in 1968. He worked in the printing business in the Saint Louis area all of his adult life and recently retired in 2013. As a retiree, he spent most of his time gardening, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. Mike cherished all of the time he spent with his family, especially when it involved the great outdoors.

Mike was a devoted husband to his wife, Barb; a loving father to his sons Matt and Joe Mesey, daughter Teresa Watson, step-sons Steve Johnson and Anthony Gitcho, and a doting grandfather of eight. He is also survived by his siblings, Cheryl Hammonds, Donna Thone, and Bill Mesey, and was a much loved uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Mike’s memorial service will be on September 23rd, 2016, from 2p.m.-5p.m. at St. Louis Cremation, 320 Jungermann Rd., St. Peters, MO 63376. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society. Donations can be made on the ACS website at donate.cancer.org.
