Max Anderson passed away peacefully on January 9, 2017 it his home in Kirkwood after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Max was born on April 4, 1934 in Harrisburg, IL, the only son of the late Murl and Maxine Anderson. He spent most of his life in the insurance industry, eventually coming to own his own agency. His favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing, and he loved to hang out with his faithful canine buddy, Huck, a Brittany Spaniel bird dog.

Max is survived by his loving wife, Patty L. Anderson (nee Parson); his beloved sons, Russell (wife Xia) Anderson and Tom (wife Rosemary) Anderson; and his dear grandchildren Katie and Max Anderson. He was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Mitchell Anderson.

Services are being planned for later in the year, possibly April 2017.
