Mary Anna (Revak) Wood 79 – Beloved mother passed away on January 12, 2017 at Anderson Hospital after a brief illness.

Mary was a very strong and brave woman who did everything and sacrificed a lot so that she could to provide a good life for her daughters.

Mary was born to the union of Simeon (Sam) Revak and Anna (Yevin) Revak in Granite City, Illinois; September 23, 1937.

Mary attended public school in Granite City where she made life long friends.

Mary had a career as the Credit manager for Famous Barr where she retired after 30 plus years.

Mary enjoyed her retirement spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.

Over the last three years Mary has lived at Cambridge House in Maryville, Illinois. Where she leaves behind many friends, poker and bingo buddies.

Mary was proceeded in death by her Parents Sam and Anna Revak and her brother Robert Revak.

Mary leaves behind her siblings Ruth Tedesco; Sam (Joan) Revak; George (Carol) Revak. Her daughters, Cynthia (Curtis) DuBoise; Melinda (Robert) Wood-Bates; Ann (David) Dorn; Ruth (Stephen)Price and Dana (James) Barnes; and her 6 (six) grandchildren; Seth, Curtis, Nicolas, Lucy, Libby and Henry. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 3:00PM – 7:00PM
