Christopher Lee Yost
Christopher Lee Yost passed away peacefully at home on February 5, 2017, his 70th birthday. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy, daughter, Mary Ellen and her husband Brendan Coady and their two sons, Jack and Cal, brother Robert E Yost and his wife, Janet and their two daughters, Cathy Templeton and Amy Parent. He was preceded in death by his father Robert and mother Betty.
Chris was born in Huntington, W. Va. After serving as a Navy corpman in Vietnam, Chris and Nancy met in school in Philadelphia. After moving to St Louis, Chris spent almost 30 years as a CRNA at DePaul hospital.
Chris loved music, especially Jazz, watching football, fishing and being outdoors, but he loved to combine his two biggest passions, sharing time at the beach with his family and playing golf.
In honor of Chris, Mass will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church in Chesterfield at 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 17th, followed by a reception in the church multi-purpose room from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Special thanks to the staff at DePaul for your wonderful friendship, loving care and frequent visits. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.

I am so sorry to hear that our classmate Chris has passed. He was always full of life and made everyone laugh. Prayers for his family.
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Chris. I didn’t know him very well but I have thought of him often. I was in the 1964 graduating class at Ceredo-Kenova High School.
May the Lord bless you with peace and comfort at this very difficult time.
Nancy, You probably do not remember me but I worked at Christian Hospital when you came. Chris was always so nice and pleasant. I remember stories you would tell about MaryEllen.
You are in my prayers.
Hi Pop, I loved you so much more than you can fathom. I just wanted to say I love you and I hope you have the best time up there.
