Jim Allen Brinkman
Jim Allen Brinkman, age 62, passed away on March 6, 2017 surrounded in love by his soulmate, loving family and lifelong friends after a short battle with lung cancer.
Jim was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on Christmas Day in 1954 to parents Glen and Joan Brinkman. He was a 1973 graduate of Lutheran High South. He recently retired from Dierbergs Markets, Inc. where he spent many dedicated years as an Assistant Produce Manager. Jim and his wife, Jill Custer-Brinkman enjoyed spending time together hiking, fishing, playing disc golf and listening to music. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all.
An outdoor memorial service will be held for Jim at a later date. Donations in Jim’s name can include planting a tree in his honor or a donation to the charity of your choice, Missouri Conservationist, or SSM Cancer Center in St. Louis, MO. Condolences may be left online at StLouisCremation.com
