Thomas Robert Jacklitch
Thomas Robert Jacklitch, Jr., 74, of Kirkwood, MO, passed away on March 10th.
Tom was born in Lakewood, OH on October 30th, 1942. He graduated from Lakewood High School, and then put himself through Western Reserve University where he received a Bachelors in English, and a Juris Doctorate in Law.
Tom was married to Dixie Sue Hill on August 31st, 1968; they were married for 49 years.
He started his law career in private practice at a family firm, and then went on to have a 40 plus year career as General Counsel for several large organizations. The majority of his time was with Ohio Bar Title. Outside of work, Tom enjoyed working on projects that entailed building and wood working…many of which were for his grandchildren in the later years.
He is survived by his wife Dixie; his daughter Michelle (Scott) Rockafellow; grandchildren Max & Tess; and his sister Joyce (Jim) Heile.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
Tom was a dedicated father, husband and grandpa..he will be greatly missed both by those who loved him and those who knew him…our prayers go out to you, his family..please accept our condolences.
