Joyce Bales
Joyce Bales passed, March 12, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Thelma (Serpas) Parker; beloved wife and soulmate of Robert Sidwell; dear mother of James Holland, Michelle (Bryan) Ackerman and Steve Wilmas; dear grandmother or MeMa to Jamie Sherman, Brendan, Emma Cameron and Kathryn Ackerman; dear great-grandmother of Kiera Parker and Brantley Ackerman ; she is survived by her sister, Jan Brooks and her brother, Don Bales, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dean Bales. Joyce was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Joyce was a lover of nature, a gifted gardener, a skilled potter and a cherished MeMa.

Joyce was a lady to the core. Her sweet nature was displayed in every way. Her gifted hands brought the potters wheel into line, creating beautiful objects out of the earth. She was a special person and one who brought joy to everyone she met. She will be missed and not replaced.
Joyce was a very positive, friendly and gracious lady! I am so glad I had the privledge of knowing her! RIP Joyce.
