Gerald “Jerry” McCaul

Gerald “Jerry” Michael McCaul, 72, of Ballwin, MO passed away March 17, 2017 following a brief battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of Cheryl (Kraft) for 51 plus years; loving father of Kelly (Andy) North, James McCaul and Holly McCaul; cherished grandfather of Blake, Ally, Audrey, Elyse, Liam and Colton; brother of Judy (the late Bob) Pleasant. Jerry was preceded in death by daughter, Susan McCaul and parents James and Bernice (Lovett). Our loving uncle and friend. Jerry was an avid reader, loved telling stories and debating politics with his best friend, Jim Oakley.

A memorial service celebrating Jerry’s life will be held on Friday, March 24th, 2017 at Krieger’s, 1356 Big Bend Rd., Ballwin MO 6:00-9:00 p.m.

    Dear friend Jerry,
    We will always remember the great times together. We enjoyed a lot of dinners, laughs, conversations and sometime arguments. It was a pleasure to be invited to your Christmas parties as if we were part of the family. We took many fun trips together but you took this trip alone and we will have to catch up with you later. You will be missed but never forgotten. Cheryl and children, you know we are always here for you.

    Cheryl, I am so very sorry to hear of Jerry’s death. Know that you are not alone in your pain. I can not make the memorial, but will be in touch with you later. Remember the laughter and love that you had with Jerry.

    Jerry was the best Irish storyteller ever. We will never forget his laugh and that he always had a smile on his face.

    Randy will always be grateful for how patient Jerry was when he taught Randy how to drive. He was truly the Best!!!

    Cheryl and Holly at Station Casino. He will be truly missed.
