Traditional Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And the rain fall softly on your fields
And until we meet again, May God hold
you in the hollow of his hand

We spent yesterday remembering the happy times. Memories like singing to Aunt Jean, staying up late with her, her love of sports, catching lightning bugs, baking cookies together, and things that brought back smiles and laughter. Sayings like “too Cosmo”, “Our work is never done”, and “a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do”. While it is hard for everyone to say goodbye, knowing they will not see Aunt Jean again in this lifetime, there was comfort in praying that she would now be free of the things that held her back here on earth, that she would now be at peace and free from all pain, and praying that God would welcome her in to be with Him always in true love and happiness. I would like to thank everyone who came to pay their respects and honor her memory. I would like to thank everyone at St.Louis Cremation for their kindness through each step of this process. Thank you to all the staff at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, for all your efforts to help make the memorial special. A special thank you to Pastor Hopping for making the service meaningful, personal, comforting, and for being there for all of us and praying with us for Aunt Jean. Thank you to everyone who has been sending their condolences, kind words, and prayers for our family. Your compassion is greatly appreciated. I love you Aunt Jean, your cheetah face- ugly baby- punker- niece Crystal
