Anna Ruth Dreckshage

Anna Ruth Dreckshage (nee Hubbard), 84, passed away May 21, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born February 27, 1933 in West Frankfort, Illinois to Huey and Ester Hubbard and was one of nine children.

Anna Ruth spent her adult life living in the St. Louis area. She was retired from Laclede Gas Company as Director of Contributions for the Charitable Trust.

Ruth is survived by her five children, Denise (Mel) Marley, Karen (James) Danner, Brian (Suzanne Watson) Dreckshage, Teresa (John) Hammel, Stacy(Tommy) Waters; five grandchildren, Courtney, Dylan, Michael, Joseph and Christopher; brothers Albert, Carl and Charles Hubbard, sisters Catherine Keck and Janet Harper. She is preceded in death by brothers Dean, Andy, and James Hubbard.

Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Alzheimer’s Association.
