Helen Delores Davis

Helen Delores Davis (Greenfield) was born on March 21, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri, to proud parents Earl and Pearl (Vaughn) Greenfield. She attended St. Barbara’s Elementary School, and graduated from Soldan High School in 1970. She furthered her education at the Mildred Louise School of Business, and worked for many years as a Corporate Secretary. Later in life, Helen developed an entrepreneurial spirit, and started “Helen’s Kiddie Garden,” where she worked until she retired—teaching and positively affecting the lives of numerous children throughout her tenure as a day care provider.

Helen dedicated her life to becoming one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on January 13, 1990, where she would impart bible truths to people with which she encountered. Despite being ill and in pain, she maintained a positive outlook on life, which was evidenced by her infectious smile whenever she interacted with family and friends. Helen succumbed to her illness on May 31, 2017.

Helen was united in marriage to Charles Davis on July 8, 1989. Affectionately referred to by her family members as “Miss Helen,” she leaves to mourn her husband (Charles Davis), four children (Christopher, Tranace, Danielle, and Darien), three grandchildren (Devin, Marley, and Marelynn), four sisters (Earline, Marchia, Linda, and Constance), and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

On behalf of the entire family, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for all of the heartfelt acknowledgements, prayers and condolences offered by so many people who had the pleasure of knowing our gem, our beloved one, our very own… Miss Helen.
