Beloved husband of Barbara Ann Pumm (nee Bolliger); dear father and father-in-law of Kevin (Lynn) Pumm and Karen Pack, dear grandfather of Amy Pumm and Julie and Stephen Pack; dear brother of Joyce Pumm; dear uncle of Juli Smith and Jill Coffin; dear friend of many.

Vernon was an avid runner and member of St Louis Track Club.
