Barbara Lynn Hodge, 66, of Jerseyville, IL passed away on Monday, August 7th, 2017 at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, Missouri after a courageous battle with lung cancer and heart issues.

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 3, 1950 to the late Benedict and Thelma Balicki. She lived her life in the St. Louis and Illinois areas. For many years, she worked alongside her husband Dennie at Olin Corp. in East Alton, Illinois. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Barb leaves behind to mourn her passing: her loving husband of 48 years, Dennie A. Hodge of Jerseyville, IL; her two dear sons, Dennis (Jamie) Hodge of Alton, IL and James (Coleen) Hodge of Norris City, IL; her much-adored grandchildren, Christian, Connor, Collin, Breona, Shelby, Jacob and Colin; great-granddaughter Kenlee; her siblings, Larry Balicki of CA, Mark Balicki of WA, Greg Balicki of Alton, IL, Steve (Tina) Balicki of South Roxanna, IL and Judy (Ed) Steed and Benita Balicki, both of Bethalto, IL; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service on Monday, August 14th at 1:00 pm at Lifebrook Church, 400 N. Beau Chateaux, Bethalto IL. Per her wishes, Barbara will be cremated and her ashes laid to rest at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL.
