Kerry D. Charley

Kerry D. Charley, 52, died on Sunday, June 9, 2019 in St. Louis, Missouri. Born October 2, 1966, in Highland Park, Michigan; he was the son of the late Charles S. Charley and Lilly M. Brandes.

Kerry was a 1984 graduate of Southwestern High School, Piasa IL. He was a member of the Shawnee Tribe of Miami OK.

Kerry was an extremely proud, Certified ASE Mechanic. He had a big heart and would go above and beyond to help people in need. Often, the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back or his last dime.
He was gentle on the inside and tough on the outside. He was a lover & a fighter and had a strong warrior’s soul.
Despite hardships, he had a tenacious spirit and found his peace with God.
He is survived by his fiancé, Kelsie, children, Michael and Stephen, sisters, Vicki, Charlene, Cindy, Kini, Jaclyn; brothers, Rick & Jack and numerous nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Fred (Kevin) Lewis and sister, Cheryl Charley.

A private family service will be held in his honor.
PUNK by Jack: “We parted our ways; see better places for good times; the love we feel will always be. Goodbye. You will always be a hero to me.”
In loving memory of Kerry.

    Have you covered.

I will not let up until I see retribution.

Remembering the phone call, “made my peace with God,” and the phone call, “you are right, even though you never wanted to admit it, you have to put God 1st.

Thankful we had lunch on 5.31.19.

    I will see you there.
    Love you

Our brother was such a wonderful person. He was always willing to help others and asked for nothing in return.
Kerry was an outstanding mechanic with a big heart. He would go above and beyond to help people when they needed help. Countless individuals have shared that with me. An example of this is when Kerry and another person drove 500 miles to help a stranded girl with her transmission. That’s how selfless he was, going way out of his way to help someone even though he didn’t get much in return. He was always concerned with the needs and wishes of others.

I’m sure that he would want all of us to celebrate the good life that he had. We can all be thankful that we had him in our lives and continue to remember him as the great guy that he was. We will miss him dearly.

Rest In Peace Brother and we love you forever, love your oldest sister, Vicki
