Patricia Grosser

On the morning of August 24, 2019, Patricia Grosser went to be with the Lord after battling cancer for 12 years. Pat was born in 1945 in Fall River, MA to Milton and Georgette Heywood, and she grew up in Portsmouth, RI with her two sisters and three brothers. She moved to California and later married William Grosser and raised her daughter, Rebecca.

She received degrees in Psychology and Education, and her career path included working as a flight attendant for TWA, Director of Volunteers at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, and Director of Care Net Pregnancy Center in Burlington, VT.

Pat loved to travel, walk on the beach, attend and lead bible studies, and learn through reading and experiences. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her four grandchildren, and she enjoyed opening her home to friends and family. Pat had a joyful smile, a wonderful sense of humor, and an encouraging spirit which attracted people to her.

Pat is survived by her daughter Becca, son-in-law Viktor, and grandchildren Anna, Kate, Tim and Theo, as well as her siblings and their families.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held at Eureka Bible Church on Friday August 30th at 7PM.
