Danny was a good man, a dear friend and a beautiful Spirit!
We enjoyed so many wonderful times together, camping, fishing, boating on the river, sailing in the Islands and hours and hours of just talking and laughing. I can hear his laughter right now. He will be missed but I’m sure we will meet again. Farewell my friend.

Danny and I grew up in Galesburg and I remember him best as one of the best athletes we had seen. Football and baseball were his sports. He always had a winning smile and a talent for his love of people. Our HS class reunion in 2014 was the last time I saw him, but his kindness and warmth will always be in my memory of him. He was one of the best!
