James S. Oakley Sr.
James S. Oakley Sr. (Jim) 78, surrounded by family passed away peacefully at home on November 24th 2019. He was born on March 1, 1941 to Hilda (Brueseke) and Almar Oakley in Jefferson City, Mo.
Jim was a devoted husband to Gwendolyn (Glover), and loving father of James Jr. (Jimmy). He will be greatly missed by both as well as his beloved feline, Kramer.
Jim was predeceased by his parents and older brothers Thomas Oakley of Prescott , Az. and Almar Oakley of Rochester NY. He is also survived by brother Dr. John Oakley of Prescott, Az., sister Martha (Elmar) Kremer of Toronto, Canada and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be announced. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
