James Finley Jr
James Michael Finley Jr (aka Mike) passed away Thursday November 27th 2019.
He was the beloved husband to the late Cynthia Finley, son to James Michael Finley Sr and Mary Jane Finley, survived by Goddaughter Jodie Jessmon. He was known for a wonderful sense of humor, and kind heart, an excellent pianist and extremely talented astrologist with concentration on astro-meteorological studies. He had a special ability where he could calculate in his head where all of the planets in our solar system were at any date and time. He knew their exact degrees and what degree they were from each other. He was quite a savant in this area and his magical ways will be dearly missed.
I’m very glad I got to know him, he was very nice and smart man.
He was always a great conversation starter, He could talk to just about anyone. Sweet pure of heart man.
Mike was a good friend I had known for over sixteen years. We ate meals together at various places where we had lively conversations on a variety of topics like music, old movies, spiritual practices, vegetarian lifestyle, health remedies, esoteric topics, history, current events and more. His conversations were always interesting whether he was talking to a stranger or someone he knew for many years. I miss Mike and the time spent at Govinda’s restaurant, grocery shopping, watching old shows and movies at his home, eating out and conversing, etc. His piano playing was a pleasure to listen to.
