Willeen “Cissi” (Byrd) Liley-Wyhs died Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the age of 63. She was born August 22, 1956 in Alton, IL to William and Eileen Byrd.

Cissi went peacefully in her sleep with her sister Gail, niece Nicole, great-niece Cheylee, and her two sons Scott and Cody by her side. She is survived by her children Scott Spurgeon, Jennifer Liley, Charles Liley and Cody Liley. Cissi is also survived by seven siblings John (Jen) Byrd from San Angelo, TX; Gail Myers from Alton, IL; Bill Byrd Jr from North Liberty, IA; Robert (Vickie) Byrd from Tipton, IA; Tony (Becky) Byrd from Oxford, IA; Jeff (Jodi) Byrd from Tipton, IA; Casandra (fiancé Brian) Byrd from Clarence, IA; and her step-mother Beverly Byrd from Tipton, IA as well as many grandkids, nieces and nephews.

Cissi was loved by everyone that met her. She loved the Lord and her church family from The Crossings Church in Wentzville. Cissi had acquired many degrees and was a counselor for abused children. She fought many health battles, even beating breast cancer. Cissi’s greatest memory was marrying the love of her life Mike Wyhs. She loved playing bingo and was a lifelong member of the VFW in Wood River, IL.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 21st at 2:00pm at The Crossings Church, 115 May Road, Wentzville, MO. Cissi was preceded in death by her husband Mike and father William Byrd Sr.
