Richard Lake

Richard Joseph Lake (86) of Ellisville, Missouri passed away on December 5th 2019 of dementia complications. He is survived by Donna Kalkbrenner Lake, his spouse of 49 years. Richard was born on February 24, 1933 in St. Louis, MO and was the youngest and last surviving of four children born to Anna (Mason) Lake and Andrew Lake. He is a graduate of DeAndrias High School and served in the Army for the Korean War. He loved the outdoors and his family which include children Leslie Lake, Daniel Lake (Laurie), and Douglas Lake (Kelly) and 6 grandchildren, all of St. Louis, Missouri.

On Friday, January 3rd 2020, a memorial service honoring his life will be held at St. Alban Roe Catholic Church located at 2001 Shepherd Rd. Wildwood, MO. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. and a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. His internment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery will take place privately, later in the year.
