Mary Kay Miller
Mary Kay Miller (née Shrader), of Ellisville, MO passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 at the age of 79.
Mary Kay was born to parents Kenneth and Lucille Shrader on January 19, 1940 in Joplin, MO. She grew up as the middle of three siblings mostly in Waterloo, Illinois, where she attended Gibault High School. Mary Kay lived in Waterloo for several years and then moved to Valmeyer, Illinois in 1986. After losing her home in the Flood of 1993, she moved to Ellisville, Missouri.
Mary Kay worked at Missouri Baptist Medical Center for almost thirty years and after she retired, she worked as a volunteer at Missouri Baptist.
Mary Kay is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Dean) Kaysinger; her son, Mike Miller; her brother, Fred Shrader; and her two grandchildren, Danny and Emily Kaysinger. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Lucille, and her brother Louie Shrader.
Mary Kay was an incredible, loving mom to Mike and Suzanne. She loved spending time with her two grandchildren, Danny and Emily, playing board games and taking them shopping. She was a great friend to many. She was clever, funny, and smart with an infectious laugh. She loved animals, especially dogs, caring for several rescues in her lifetime.
Mary Kay was an extraordinary lady and will be missed by all.
