I echo Monte’s eloquent words. I miss you Charles and our Tuesday night meetings at your home. I will see you again and my dog Laser, who passed on March 18th. So, my 2 Best Friends Forever recently left me. Say hi to Larue for me.

I will always remember Mr. Charles. He cut off my braids when I was about 13 and he styled my hair for my wedding in 1963. He also did my mother’s hair for years and years. I recall when I was in 8th grade and I was reading “Gone with the Wind” while he did my hair. He asked if my mother knew I was reading that book. I felt quite grown up and then wondered what I was missing! A wonderful part of my life. Blessings on him.
