Russell Ford
Russell Eugene Ford (69) of High Ridge MO, died unexpectedly on February 22, 2020.
Russ was born in Mansville, Ohio on January 16, 1951. Russ lived every day to the fullest. He loved being around his family and drinking “his” beer. He served in the Vietnam war and proudly wore his veteran hat everywhere he went. He worked in the grocery food store business most of his career. He enjoyed his retirement by reading books, listening to music and watching his Browns football, but most of all, spending time with his friends and family. Russ was a member of the Catholic Church since 2015 and we pray that God welcomed him into his Kingdom. He was a very kind, and gentle soul, always knew how to make you laugh. Russ left an imprint on everyone he met and will be greatly missed by all.
He was survived by his partner of 22 years the love of his life, Jaye Ann Zuellig, his son Jason Ford; three step children Jonathan (wife, Nicole) Zuellig, Rudolph III (wife, Amy) Zuellig, Curt (wife Tamara) Zuellig; and grand children Rudolph Zuellig IV, Grace Zuellig, Cameron Beekman, Aleyna Warden, Aden Warden, Cole Zuellig, Dalylah Zuellig.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th at Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 350 E. 4th Street Eureka MO, 63025. There will be a visitation held from 11am – 12pm, a 12pm Memorial Mass, and after Mass we will proceed to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for his final resting place with full Military Honors. After JB we will go to O’Charley’s for Russ’s request to Celebrate his life with a beer.
The day I met you
I HAVE FOUND THE ONE WHOM MY SOUL LOVES
You complete me & make me a better person
I WAS A LITTLE LATE TO BE YOUR FIRST
But I want all of my last to be with you
There is no pretending I love you
AND I WILL LOVE YOU UNTIL I DIE,
& IF THERE IS LIFE AFTER THAT, I’ll love you then.
I love you forever & always
Love,
