A Time to be born

William R. Capers was born to the late Williams Capers Sr. and Minnie Murchison Capers Boney on December 12, 1946.

A Time to Embrace

William confessed to the principles of the Muslim Religion as a teenager and was a follower throughout his lifetime.

A time to Plant

Robbie was a proud 1967 graduate of the Beach High School Bulldogs in Savannah, Georgia. He married Carolyn Members that same year and to this union , his only child Sharalyn was born.

He worked for the Clo-White Company and as a long shore man while in Savannah. He later moved to Detroit and worked for Ford Motor Company. He later moved to St. Louis, MO where he was a resident for over twenty years. Robbie was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching all sports and he was always excited about his St. Louis Cardinals. He always complimented the ladies but with the utmost respect. Robbie provided sound advice to his family and friends when he felt it was necessary.

A Time to Die

On Wednesday, April the 8th the angels decided Robbie had been sick long enough and transported him from this earthly life to be with his heavenly father. He was preceded in death by his parents William Capers Sr. and Minnie Boney; stepfather Levi Boney, sister; Willie Mae Capers Jones, brother; Harold Boney.

A Time to Love

Robbie leaves to cherish his memories, a loving daughter, Sharalyn Williams(Frank) three granddaughters; Joi Williams, Faith Williams and Hope Williams of Savannah, Ga; sisters Barbara McGee of Toledo OH, Hattie Adams of Gary, IN, Vidonia Williams of Memphis, TN; brothers Levi Boney Jr (Marsha) and Maurice Boney (Jackie) of Savannah Ga; an aunt Mary Boney of Clermont, Fl; a dedicated and devoted friend, Joyce Hall of St. Louis, MO, special friends Vogel and Carla Bonds of St. Louis, MO., and a multitude of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
