Robert Rapp

March 13, 1966 – April 8, 2020

Survived by his wife Tagrid (Abounader); his children Nijmeh (husband Paul), Zohear, Nader, and Zayna; his granddaughter Mika; his brothers Richard (wife Betty) and Alex; his sisters Mary (husband Dimitrios), Suzanne, and Debi.

Robert was born in St. Louis, MO to Richard and Mary (Marie) Rapp on 03/13/1966 and passed away on 04/08/2020 after an 8 year long battle with Cancer.

The youngest of 6, he enjoyed many family outings to the Zoo, vacations to Mississippi, California, and New York, as well as camping, fishing, and playing soccer. Throughout his life, he was an avid baseball and hockey fan. He attended many Cardinals and Blues games with his family and was ecstatic to see the Blues win their first Stanley Cup.

Robert worked very hard to provide for his family and to be the best father for his children. Our favorite vacation memories include long drives to Florida and float trips down the Black River while camping. Our family enjoyed playing endless card games, board games, and having kickball/Foosball competitions that included his nieces and nephews.

He will best be remembered for his quick wit, telling the best jokes, his passion for collecting baseball memorabilia, and his love for his family. Robert attended every family gathering, reunion, and wedding that he could. He also enjoyed being the first person on the dance floor and making sure that his wife (Tagrid) always had a dance partner.

Although the Pandemic has delayed a service to celebrate Robert’s life, as individuals we will mourn his passing until we are able to gather together and commemorate him.
