Sharon “Sharie” Bahmani
Sharon “Sharie” Kay Salas (Uribe, Bahmani), of St. Peters, Missouri, died peacefully on April 24, 2020 at The Riverview Nursing Facility.
Sharie left a hell of a lot of trinkets, thought to be antiques, to her son who has no idea what to do withit all. So, if you’re looking for something believed to be antique, he’s your guy!
Sharie was born on April 4, 1954 to Jesus Villasana Salas and Mildred Laverne Johnson in St. Louis, Missouri who have preceded her in death. Survived by her son, Luis Jesus Uribe, her grandchildren, Julian, Ethan and Madalynn Uribe, her dear sister Theresa (Tree) Laverne Salas Lopez (Javier) and brother Jesus (Tony, Toe-Knee, Tone) Villasana Salas Jr (Sue), nieces Christina Lopez, Angelica Gonzalez-Lopez, Tiffany Salas Turnbough, Jason Salas, Alicia Lopez, Javier Lopez, her dear friend Nyla James, and the many cousins and all other children who had the pleasure to know her as “Aunt Sharie”.
Sharie was preceded in death by her life-partner Robert “Bobby” Russell, whom she spent several loving years with.
Sharie lived in St. Peters, Missouri, where she was an avid collector of the aforementioned “antiques”. Sharie attended Roosevelt High School on the South Side of St. Louis and achieved her GED later in her adult life. Sharie had a great personality, she was strong willed and never ever gave up, and she would never hesitate to help anyone who needed help.
Sharie was full of life and enjoyed spending time and entertaining friends and family whenever the opportunity presented itself. She was an entertaining woman who gave us all a great laugh with her antics on occasion. If she was born in the digital age, I am sure she would’ve been “You-Tube gold”!
Sharie will be remembered fondly by family and friends as a loving caring woman who loved to write poems was always willing to help and would talk to anyone about virtually anything!
Sharie will be cremated and a memorial will be scheduled at a later date due to circumstances out of our control.
Rest In Peace my dear cousin Sharon. I didn’t call her Sharie because to me she was “A Rose of Sharon.” She had a sweet smile and I would love to hear her say “Oh Kathleen.” When I think of you I will remember all the good old days when our families would get together for special occasions growing up. You will never be forgotten and I will pray for you often. May God have mercy on your soul and on all the souls of faithful departed and may you Rest In Peace. Love Forever your first cousin Kathleen
