It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our sister Sharon Ann Shaw (St Louis, Missouri), who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 61. Sharon was the seventh child born to the late Al W and Louise T Shaw. Sharon now joins her siblings Mary Louise Crawford and Gary Alan Shaw who departed in recent years. Sharon leaves behind four brothers: Mike (Kathy), Pat (Diane). Tom (Linda), and Jerry (Cindy), as well as two sisters Terri Branson and Maureen (Dennis) Peery; dear aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Sharon grew up in a family that loved sports and was known for her athletic prowess. She suffered a stroke in 2014 that took away her ability to speak with any volume and forced her to utilize a feeding tube to provide her body with nourishment. She spent the last years of her life in nursing homes where her health noticeably declined. She signed up with the National Body Donor program so her body could be used by students to help them with their studies to become great doctors of the future.

Although Sharon passed away during the COVID-19 epidemic, and her oxygen levels were greatly reduced, her corona virus test results proved to be negative. We will schedule a Celebration of Life for Sharon sometime in the future and will let everyone know the place and time well in advance.
