Beverly Campbell
Beverly Gail Campbell (Butcher), age 83, passed away on June 22, 2020. Beverly was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 15, 1936. She and her husband, Burke Sherwood Campbell, met in Wichita, fell in love and married soon after on June 17, 1956. Beverly is survived by her husband, Burke, son’s Michael Lee and Burke Sherwood Jr., and daughter Shawna; granddaughters Abigail and Jillian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Edith Butcher and brother Bill Butcher. Prior to being married, Beverly and her mother Edith sang church hymns on the old television show “Deputy Dusty”. Beverly was an avid gardener, loved to bake, and sew. She was exceptional at needle work and always made her house a home. Beverly was a volunteer tutor to adults from other countries and worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She and Burke loved to travel and made friends wherever they went. Beverly will be lovingly missed by many. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh has been a special gift and will be in the hearts of all who knew her.

We have not made plans for Beverly’s celebration of life as we are waiting for the restrictions due to COVID-19 to be lifted.
Very special lady, we will miss you! Rest in peace our sweet friend.
