Joyce Louise Maher
Joyce Louise Maher, 76, born on November 25,1943, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday June 20, 2020. Joyce loved spending time with her family and friends. She was beautiful inside and out, known for making others feel loved and welcomed. Her strength and faith in God were inspirational and will be the legacy her family carries on.
Joyce was the daughter of the late James and Mary Brown; beloved wife of the late John D. Schutz and of Patrick J Maher; devoted mother of Diane(Rick)Hawkins and Jennifer(Kevin)Patterson; loving grandmother of Emily, Elizabeth, Brooke, and Jack; sister of Mary(Roy)Dale and James(Mary Jo)Brown; Dear Aunt and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Cancer Research.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday June 27, 2020 at 11 am at St Clare of Assisi Catholic Church , 15642 Clayton Road, Ballwin, Mo 63011. Starting at 10:15, there will be a brief visitation in the gathering space as you enter church for the mass, respecting social distancing due to the COVID19 situation. Per archdiocese regulations, masks will be required.
So sorry to lose a wonderful sister-in-law. I sincerely appreciate how she took such wonderful care of Pat after his injury. We have been so lucky to have had her in our lives.
So sorry I will not be able to be there on Saturday because of my Grandson’s wedding. I am thankful to have spent time with Joyce earlier. She has been a wonderful friend and I’m positive she is dancing with the Angels. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as we tread through this time of sorrow. I miss my friend as I know you do also.
Joyce is a wonderful aunt and such a sweet woman. She’s always been extremely kind to me and my family and always took an interest in our lives. Rest In Peace Aunt Joyce! You will he missed.

Our heartfelt condolences to Pat and all of Joyce’s family. We knew Joyce as a friendly, engaging and caring neighbor at her Emerald Bay home in Florida. Always a ready smile from Joyce. We shall miss her.
