What an awesome guy. He was our neighbor in Winghaven and he would help me as sick as was when I needed help because my husband also had cancer. You touched so many lives.
Nancy and Steve are awesome people. Steve say Hi to Ed for me I know he is
Up there waiting for you I know you both are definitely both Gods a angels.
God gifted Steve with the gift of music and used that gift to bring Steve into the Christian faith. His excellence as a musician honored his creator and inspired worshipers and the musicians who played with him. His humble attitude toward serving, even when he was sick, was humbling to us all as well. His walk with Jesus these last several years demonstrated Steve’s great faith. He he knew who held his future and whether lived or whether he died, it was a win – win for Steve. He will be greatly missed by all who shared in his life’s journey. We will remember his gentle spirit, his sense of humor and the love that he had for Nancy, his family and friends.
Steve was the definition of a kind, gentleman. His music can now join the
choir of angels.
I had the privilege to work with Steve for little over a year in MN. He was always a gentle soul, was always willing to help you out when you needed him. He also had a good eye for photography, that was something else we had in common. His strength in the face of illness was a testament to his faith. Rest in peace my friend.
It saddens my heart greatly to hear of Steve’s passing. We grew up in the same block, childhood friends (we moved out of the city and grew out of contact), he was great guy. I mourn his passing, he is in my prayers and I send my sincerest sympathies to his family and friends. Rest in peace old friend, you will be sorely missed.
Steve worked for me at Verizon in Memphis, TN. Steve was an awesome telecom technician and the customers were very pleased with him. Steve and I became friends as we shared a common interest playing the bass guitar. When Steve would come to my gig, I would have Steve sit in with the band. I had purchased a bass guitar from Steve, a Calvin 6 string and what a challenge it was. I played that guitar earlier as I sat in for Steve at a gig as he went on an after hours service call. I loved Steve and always enjoyed being around Steve. ❤ I’m so sorry to hear of Steve passing as I’m sure the angels are happy he is there. Thank you Lord for bringing Steve into our lives. God bless.
Just found out today, on Steve’s Birthday, of his passing. Worked many gigs together & Always knew he had my back. Prayers to Nancy & his family. He is missed!!
So really sorry to find this news of Steve”s passing. I had the real pleasure of working with Steve here in Pittsburgh. Together with Gale Belle on piano, we made some great jazz. He will be missed.
I met Steve on a music venture. So sad to hear of his passing. He battled for a while and I last spoke with him during one of his battles. He gave it his all. Gone too soon. One of the sweetest musicians I ever met!
