Marie Ida Konetchy (Dyer) of Ballwin, MO passed on August 12, 2020.

Mrs. Konetchy was born on January 18, 1932 to Alice and Russell Dyer of Dorchester, Massachusetts. She married Richard Konetchy on October 4, 1952. She selflessly and lovingly raised two sons and two daughters and had four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Konetchy was a lifelong Christian Scientist and was a member of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston Massachusetts and of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Town and Country. She lived her faith daily and served her church tirelessly.

She also enjoyed cooking, reading, spending time with family and playing the piano.

She leaves behind her husband of 67 years, Richard, and son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Rita Konetchy and their son, Matthias of Frankfurt, Germany; daughter, Kim Konetchy of Ballwin, MO; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Jeff Ostheim and their children, Tory, Matthew, and Rachael of Moore, SC and son, Paul Konetchy of Ballwin, MO.
