Renee Michelle Laury
Obituary for Renee Michelle Laury
Sadly we lost an Amazing woman Renee Laury on Saturday 09/12/2020 to her fight with cancer. She was born in Illinois October 5th 1967. She is the daughter of Martin, and Rosemary Laury and the mother of John Hopson, Anna Campbell, Jessica Apenbrinck, and Aaron Apenbrinck. There are so many amazing things to say about this beautiful and amazing soul. As most of you know she completed college with her PHD in Mathematics, owned car lots, and was an overall go getter in life endeavors. I think the most amazing thing about Renee was that no matter what she was going through in life she would always lend a helping hand, even if she herself was struggling. As I write this I have tears in my eyes, my mother was and we always be a superhero. As far as funeral arrangements, it was her wish to have a celebration of life ceremony at Fenton park on April 24th 2021. Any questions feel free to message Anna Campbell for further details. FLY HIGH MOMMA, OUR NEWEST GUARDIAN ANGEL. <3

Renee was such a remarkable, beautiful, talented, intelligent and funny woman. I’m proud to have known her and to call her my friend. The last time we saw each other was at our Class Reunion (Class of ’85) five years ago. It was as if we’d just seen each other in choir the day before.
To her children: she couldn’t say enough about how proud she is of all of you. Her beautiful smile never left her face. ❤️ My prayers are with her family and friends. God Bless.
My lasting impression of my lovely niece Renee is the strength she showed in adversity and the fight she raged against her enemy Cancer, yet keeping an optimistic attitude and continuing to care for others. I am so glad she got to meet and love Luna. I know so many will miss her lovely smile and loving heart.
Renee we had so much fun together. Even when we got in trouble never bad trouble always good trouble. When we reconnected a few years back it was like we never parted. I wish we could have had more time. I will cherish the talks we had and I know you are watching over all of us. I really miss you. You will always be in my heart. Love you always
