Patricia May Berg

Patricia May Berg, 72 of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away on September 9, 2020, at DePaul Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Patti was born in Horsham, Pennsylvania on November 17, 1947, and was adopted by Benjamin and May Camburn. She grew up in Ambler, Pennsylvania. She attended school at Abbington High. Upon graduation, Patti joined the U.S. Navy and was trained as a Hospital Corpsman and served from 1968 to 1970 obtaining the rank of HNSN. Upon her Honorable discharge, she was married to the late Gary Hawkins of Youngstown, Ohio. In January 1975 she married Bruce Berg of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Patti was a Navy wife and moved numinous time during her husband’s naval career including Moscow, Russia, and the Republic of Singapore. Patti was a mother and homemaker, believing that her children’s needs were an important part of her job. She did work for a few years as a Special Needs bus driver for the Francis Howell School District in Saint Peter.

Patti was an avid crafter and enjoyed many hours making her creations. She was especially talented at counted cross-stitching which she taught to her Daughters.

Patti is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Mary Camburn

Patti is survived by her husband Bruce of 45 years, her children, George Hawkins, Mary Schmitt (Willard), Erin, Kirk, and her granddaughter Annika.

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on October 19, 2020, at 10:30 am.
