Leland Wayne Lemen
Dec. 24, 1928 – Oct. 28, 2020
Born in LA, Wayne as he liked to be called, moved to St.
Louis as a child with his parents Leland and Iola. While in grade
school he met the love of his life Beverly Niehaus. They would
marry in 1951 and later have three sons. Wayne served his
country in the Korean War. Following the war he worked as an
industrial engineer. After retiring, the couple enjoyed traveling
the world with friends. He also loved playing sports, especially
basketball and softball. As a member of Grace Lutheran Chapel
he served the church in many different roles. Wayne is survived
by his wife Beverly, sons Darryl, his wife Jaleen, Dale, his wife
Diane, and Darren, his wife Star. Wayne also was the proud
grandfather of three grandchildren Kevin, Jamie and Becky. He
also had five great-grandchildren Hank, Scarlett, twins Eve and
Avery, and Hannah.
