So many memories about my baby sister…she was strong and full of laughter….! Have to mention the times she would put Bobbie pins into our oldest brother hair…it was hilarious. We will miss her very much…but never the memories. Love you forever

I just learned of dear Mary’s passing. She was a room mate of my sister Shirley Sonntag while they were in Community Care Center of Lemay. My sister passed July 26, 2019. They got along really well. There were times they had a few words, but that is normal with room mates. My husband John and I enjoyed our visits with Mary when we came to see Shirley. She would always keep us laughing. She had such a beautiful personality. The last time I spoke with Mary was in early 2020 and she had been moved to Nazareth. She told me she had had another stroke. I was happy to hear that she was no longer at that other nursing home. That place turned out to be a nightmare.

I was so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing and John and I extend out deepest sympathy to Mary’s family. I know how much she loved her grandchildren. She talked about them all the time. I was so pleased to have known Mary and she always tried to look after Shirley when I was not there. Mary told me when Shirley passed that she was upset because her and Shirley had made a pact that when one of them died the other would go with them. Well, they are together now watching over the one’s they loved. Rest in Peace sweet Mary in the arms of Jesus. I will never forget you.
