Robert Joseph Wall Sr.

At 69 years old Robert Joseph Wall Sr. devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed peacefully at de Greef Hospice House, St. Louis, MO on Tuesday December 29, 2020.

Robert enjoyed hunting, camping, and anything that involved the outdoors but he had a passion for race cars. He raced stock cars at a young age and went on to drive trucks for a living. As many know, he drove more miles backward then any of us would think of driving forward. While sometimes he may have come off as a grumpy old man, he had the biggest heart, loved everyone and never met a stranger.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Oscar William Wall, mother, Bernadette Ruth (Pratt) Wall and brother, Eddie Wall. He will missed greatly by his wife of 52 years Virginia Wall, children; Robert (Ginger) Wall Jr. and Angela Wall, grandchildren; Dyllan Wall, Michael (Catlynn) Wall, Nyah and Neo Akafekwa, great-granddaughter; Madison Wall, brothers; James and Rodger (Judy) Wall, sister; Donna ( Dave) Lindsey and many dear family and friends.

A celebration of life will be postponed until the pandemic has subsided and we can all be together to celebrate safely.

Wonderful pictures! He had such a fun personality. I remember when dad was in the hospital and was so nervous to be having open heart surgery and Robert came up to St.Clare and just made dad laugh so hard he was in tears. The nurse came in to check on him bc his heart monitor was going haywire from all the laughing. He made dads day that day for sure. Gave him a couple hours off from worry and they reminisced. Praying for you all, for peace and comfort during this season.

A very thoughtful man with a great sense of humour. A kind Grandpa to his grand kids. After a life of adventure and putting many smiles on many faces, may you rest in peace in the light of so many people you gave laughter and comfort too.
