Born on July 4, 1925, in Kingston Arkansas, she was the daughter of Joseph Armes and Mauda (Weathers) Armes.
She was the last surviving child of 7 from the marriage of Joseph and Mauda Armes.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Michael Brawley (Kathy) of Ferguson, MO, and Robert Wayne Heiman (Bobbie) of Daytona Beach FL; and a daughter, Sandra Lee Prichard (Bill) of Fenton, MO; six grandchildren, Marty (Keisha), Dan (Christine), Anthony (Rachel), Danielle (Dan), Lauren (Jimmy), and Luke; and five great-grandchildren, Brittney, Hayden, Alia, Zachariah, Felix, and Penelope
Throughout her life, Dot, as her friends and family knew her, was kind, loving, and self-sacrificing. Serving her family was her greatest joy. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved the Lord and followed Him. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing cards, doing puzzles, antiquing and shopping at garage sales.
A private, intimate service with her immediate family will be held. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, that you make a donation to a ministry of your choice.
In her last days, her unwavering faith in God and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through. In her last moments she was aware of God’s close presence. She told her family she could hear gospel music shortly before she entered glory.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude and thanks to the doctors, nurses and support staff of Mercy Hospital of Creve Coeur and Mason Pointe Nursing Home and Rehab of Chesterfield for their support and tender care in her final days.
